He started his banking career as a strategic planning analyst with Signet Bank in 1995.

Blair sits on the boards of United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, Metro Atlanta Chamber and Georgia Historical Society. He also serves as vice chairman of the Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America.
