Sean Buckley Biography and Net Worth

Dr. Sean P. “Jack” Buckley is Chief People & Systems Officer at Roblox, where he is responsible for the systems and processes that enable our people to thrive and for safeguarding the culture that sets Roblox apart. Before taking on his current role, Jack held various positions across Roblox, including leading the People Science & Analytics, Assessment and Early Career Recruiting, Learning & Development, People Business Partners, and Internal Tools teams.

Prior to joining Roblox, Jack served as President and Chief Scientist at Imbellus (joining Roblox as part of the Imbellus acquisition), Senior Vice President at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), and Senior Vice President of Research at The College Board. He also served as Commissioner of the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and as an Associate Professor at New York University and an Assistant Professor at Boston College. Jack began his career as a surface warfare officer and nuclear reactor engineer in the U.S. Navy and has also worked in intelligence analysis. 

Jack holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Stony Brook University and a A.B. in Government from Harvard University.
