Dr. Brad Clevenger currently serves as Vice President of Space Systems at Rocket Lab, where he provides strategic leadership across the company’s satellite and satellite component business units. 

Before joining Rocket Lab, Dr. Clevenger held multiple executive roles at SolAero Technologies and its predecessor, EMCORE Corporation. Over more than two decades, he contributed to more than 250 satellite missions and the successful deployment of over 1,100 satellites. Under his leadership, the business grew to become the global market leader in satellite solar power products.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Clevenger served as a staff member with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Naval Reactors Program, where he oversaw advanced power system design and development for the naval nuclear fleet.

Dr. Clevenger holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Florida.  He currently chairs and contributes to several national security committees and working groups focused on strengthening the U.S. and National Security Space Industrial Base.
