Dawn Sweeney Biography and Net Worth

Ms. Sweeney has served as an advisor and principal of the New England Consulting Group since 2020, focusing on the group's restaurant and association practices. She has also served as a strategic partner to JLL since 2022 as part of the Non-Profit and Association practice group. She also serves as an Executive in Residence at The Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Ms. Sweeney served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Restaurant Association, the chief business and national trade association for the restaurant and foodservice industry, from 2007 until her retirement at the end of 2019. Prior to joining the National Restaurant Association, Ms. Sweeney was the President of AARP Services, a subsidiary of AARP, where she was responsible for revenue growth and new product development for the 50+ market. Since December 2024, Ms. Sweeney has served as an Independent Director of FLUENT Corp. (formerly known as Consortium Inc.), a company listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange. Ms. Sweeney previously served as Independent Director, Chair of the Compensation, Nominating and Governance Committee and member of the Audit Committee of RIV Capital Inc. from September 2022 until its merger with FLUENT Corp. in December 2024. Ms. Sweeney also serves as chair of the board of directors of MedStar's National Medical Rehabilitation Hospital. Ms. Sweeney earned a Bachelor of Science in Government from Colby College, and an MBA in Marketing from The George Washington University.
