James "Joc" C. O’Rourke has been president and chief executive officer of The Mosaic Company since 2015. He is the company’s third CEO since it was formed in 2004.

O'Rourke has more than 25 years of experience in mining and processing operations, and has held various management, engineering and other roles in the mining industry in Canada and Australia.
O’Rourke serves as a director for a number of organizations, including The Toro Company, The Fertilizer Institute, International Fertilizer Association and Canpotex. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France.
