James “Jim” Shaughnessy is the executive vice president of corporate affairs for Workday, an enterprise cloud-based applications provider. In the role, he is responsible for efforts on policy and public affairs as well as corporate development initiatives.

Shaughnessy has over 25 years of strategic legal and business experience for preeminent technology companies. He joined Workday in 2011 as its general counsel, and he previously served as general counsel for Orbitz Worldwide, Lenovo Group, and PeopleSoft.
