Tim Adams is vice president & chief financial officer for Worthington Steel and has over 25 years of experience managing the development of strategic financial plans, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the United States and internationally.

Prior to accepting this role, Adams served as the vice president of strategy and corporate development for Worthington Industries since 2012. He joined Worthington Industries as a financial analyst in 1998 and served in multiple roles of increasing responsibility within the Financial Planning and Analysis team. He was named as the director of strategy and business development in 2008. In addition, Adams serves on the boards of two Worthington Steel joint ventures, TWB Company and Serviacero Worthington.

An Ohio native, Adams received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in finance and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from The Ohio State University. 

He and his wife, Darlene, have six children and four grandchildren.
