Richard M. Wright has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer since March 2006. Prior to joining WSFS he was Executive Vice President Retail Banking and Marketing at DNB First (Downingtown, PA) from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Firstrust Bank (Conshohocken, PA) from 1995 to 2003. Mr. Wright's other experience includes retail banking and marketing positions at Mellon Bank (Philadelphia, PA), Saudi Hollandi Bank (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Old Kent Bank (Grand Rapids, MI) and Sears Savings Bank (Glendale, CA). He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Council on Economic Education. Previously, he was Vice President of the Executive Committee of the Delaware Humane Association’s Board of Directors, and was a board member of the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley. Mr. Wright holds a B.A. in Marketing and Economics from Cal State Fullerton and an M.B.A. from USC as well as life, health, property and casualty agent and broker licenses.
