Edward Mackey Biography and Net Worth

Edward F. Mackey is our executive vice president, Global Operations, a position he has held since February 2015. In this role, he is responsible for global manufacturing and supply chain, quality and regulatory affairs, IT, global business services, global business excellence, and corporate research and development. Mr. Mackey is a member of our Global Council for Inclusion and is the executive sponsor of our LEAD employee resource group, which promotes the inclusion of individuals with any disability. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Mr. Mackey was worldwide president of DePuy Synthes Power Tools, a division of Johnson & Johnson from November 2012 to January 2015, and vice president of integration for Johnson & Johnson’s acquisition of Synthes from June 2010 to November 2012. Early in his career, Mr. Mackey held management positions in operations, quality and product development at Raytheon’s Mille Systems division. In 1995, he moved to Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics as a plant manager and progressed through a series of manufacturing and supply chain leadership roles, becoming worldwide vice president of supply chain and manufacturing for DePuy. Mr. Mackey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A from the University of Massachusetts. He is a Board member of the Greater Boston Food Bank.
