Tim Duffin joined Hamilton in 2012 and has over 25 years of global insurance and reinsurance industry experience. He was appointed Group Chief Underwriting Officer in January 2026, having previously served as the Chief Underwriting Officer of Hamilton Re since 2017. He joined Hamilton as Senior Vice President, Property Reinsurance in 2012.

From 2009 until 2012, Tim was a property catastrophe underwriter at Platinum Underwriters Bermuda, focusing on the US account and outwards retrocession purchases.
