Dr. Srilata (Sri) Zaheer joined the H.B. Fuller Company Board of Directors in 2022 and serves as a member of the Audit and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committees. She brings to the Board a distinct combination of global strategy expertise and central banking governance experience.

In particular. Dr. Zaheer’s deep experience in international business strategy and understanding of cross-border operations and emerging market dynamics positions her to support H.B. Fuller’s expansion in key international markets with disciplined attention to governance and risk.  She also has a deep understanding of developing robust corporate social responsibility strategies and programs that complement H.B. Fuller’s sustainability efforts.

Dr. Zaheer is the former Dean of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, a position she held from 2011 to 2023. She currently holds the Elmer L. Andersen Chair in Global Corporate Social Responsibility at the Carlson School of Management.

She served as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 2017 to 2023 and as Chair of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 2020 to 2023. She also serves as a Life Trustee of Hamilton College in New York and as Vice Chair of the Economic Club of Minnesota.

In 2021, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal honored Dr. Zaheer’s professional achievements, leadership qualities, and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community with its Women in Business Career Achievement Award. In 2020, for her service on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Sri was named an Outstanding Director by Twin Cities Business. In 2018, Dr. Zaheer received the PwC Strategy & Eminent Scholar Award for lifetime achievement in scholarship from the International Management Division of the Academy of International Business. In 2013, she was recognized as a Women in Business award winner by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

She received her Ph.D. from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, a Corporate Director’s Certificate from Harvard Business School, an MBA equivalent from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, and holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Madras University.
