Kirk Dove, Founding Partner and Senior Advisor of HGP, brings over 35 years of experience to the role. Previously, he held various president positions at GoIndustry-DoveBid, DoveBid, DoveBrothers, Koll-Dove, and Ross-Dove Company. Mr. Dove has revolutionized the auction industry by introducing corporations to forward flow multi-event contracts, shifting compensation structures from client fee to buyer’s premium platforms, pioneering webcast auctions utilizing voice and video broadcasting worldwide on the internet, starting featured online sales, creating vertical sector sale events, and transitioning to a paperless electronic marketing notification system for all events. These innovations have changed how auction events are signed, marketed, and conducted, inspiring the marketplace itself.
