Jennifer A. Smith is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Operations Officer of Zions Bancorporation. Smith is responsible for overseeing all technology and operations departments including the Customer Care Center, Deposit & Treasury Operations, Enterprise Loan Operations, Enterprise Information Security, Banking Transformation and Information Technology. Prior to joining Zions Bancorporation in 2006, Smith held senior management roles in technology and operations risk management and internal audit at Wells Fargo. Smith has been honored as one of American Banker’s Women to Watch in 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017; was one of Utah Business’s CxOs of the Year in 2019; and won the Women Tech Council’s Technology Leadership award in 2018. Smith holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from the University of Utah. She is a member of the YWCA’s Utah Board of Directors, University of Utah CSBS Advancement Board and FTV Capital’s Advisory Board.
