Li Fang has served as president and general manager of Corning Greater China since April 2012. In this role, he is responsible for leading Corning’s businesses in Greater China and ensuring integration of business processes in the region.
Li Fang joined Corning International in 1997 as business development manager – China, based in the Corning Beijing office.
In 1999, Li Fang was transferred to the Environmental Products Division and became production manager of CET’s China Plant – Corning (Shanghai) Company Ltd. In July 2004, he was appointed operations manager, and then in October 2004, was appointed director of operations and plant manager of Corning (Shanghai) Company Ltd.
In 2007, Li Fang was appointed vice president, Corning Display Technologies China, and director of commercial operations, government affairs and supply chain, Corning Display Technologies China, and in 2009, he was named president, Corning Display Technologies China.
Prior to joining Corning, Li Fang had many years’ experience in various business development, sales, and marketing positions with European and U.S. companies.
Li Fang holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Tongji University in China.
