SVP of Corning
Stefan Becker was appointed senior vice president in February 2019 and has served as Corning’s Operations Controller since September 2015. In this role, Becker leads the Finance teams across all Corning sectors.

Becker joined Corning in 2000 through Corning's acquisition of Siemens Communication Cable Division as director, Finance and Administration of RXS Morel in Favieres, France. 

In 2001, Becker relocated to the United States and held positions as manager, Planning and Analysis and later director of Finance, Corning Cable Systems. 

Becker joined the Display Technologies division in 2005 as U.S. Controller. In 2007, he was appointed CFO, Corning Display Technologies Taiwan. He was named director of Finance, Corning Display Technologies (CDT) in August 2009 and relocated to Japan. In 2010, Becker was appointed division controller, CDT.

Between 2012 and September 2015, he has served as International division vice president, Finance, Corning Glass Technologies.

Becker holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in business studies and economics from the University of Dortmund, Germany.
