Chief Scientific Officer of Genelux

Dr. Yu has served as our Chief Scientific Officer since May 2026. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Clinical Development from June 2023 to May 2026 and as our Vice President of Clinical Trial Operations from January 2010 to June 2023. He has been with the Company since 2002 and previously held the positions of increasing responsibility in Research & Business Development.

Dr. Yu has more than 20 years of experience in biotech/biopharma industry, with expertise in oncology and biologics drug research and development. Dr. Yu has published more than 40 research articles in peer-review journals and holds more than 20 granted US patents.

Dr. Yu is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He previously was an adjunct faculty member from 2010 to 2013 at UCSD Moores Cancer Center.

Dr. Yu received a B.A. in biology from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. in anatomy and biochemistry from Loma Linda University.
