Scott Cook co-founded Intuit in 1983 and serves as the chairman of the Executive Committee. Along with his executive responsibilities, Scott continues to work with small teams across the company, helping develop deep customer empathy and innovative solutions that solve customer problems and help them prosper.

Before founding Intuit, Scott managed consulting assignments in banking, foodservice, and technology for Bain & Company, a corporate strategy consulting firm. Prior to that, he spent four years with household products giant Procter & Gamble.

The ProTax segment provides Lacerte, ProSeries, and ProFile desktop tax-preparation software products; and ProConnect Tax Online tax products, electronic tax filing service, and bank products and related services. It sells products and services through various sales and distribution channels, including multi-channel shop-and-buy experiences, websites and call centers, mobile application stores, and retail and other channels.
