In his role as sole CEO since July 2025, Martin leads On as part of a unique partnership with On’s Co-Founders Caspar Coppetti, David Allemann, and Olivier Bernhard, collectively driving the company's strategic vision and day-to-day operations.
Since joining On in 2013 as CFO and becoming Co-CEO in 2021, Martin has been instrumental in the brand’s remarkable evolution, culminating in key milestones such as its 2021 public listing on the New York Stock Exchange, and multiple years of hypergrowth.
Martin builds off his prior experience as CFO of Valora retail in Switzerland, as well as his time working in strategic business management consulting at CTcon GmbH in Germany. He studied Industrial Engineering with a focus on Computer Science in Kaiserslautern.
Outside his professional life, Martin still lives the On mission. He is an avid endurance sports enthusiast who enjoys pushing his limits and spending time in the Engadine mountains with his wife and two daughters.
