He is a digital and technology transformation expert with extensive experience in complex enterprise systems integrations, cybersecurity, technology organizational design, and global shared services models. Larry most recently served as Global Chief Information Officer for Deloitte, the $50B professional services firm. He had responsibility for all facets of technology strategy and operations, leading over 10,000 IT professionals in 175 countries. He led Deloitte’s global implementations of ERP systems, including some of the world’s largest SAP and Salesforce platforms leveraging data analytics, cloud, and collaboration technologies from AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, and ServiceNow. He also led the development of proprietary, custom technology platforms critical to Deloitte’s profitability.
Larry and his team successfully executed post-merger technology integration for Deloitte’s acquisitions. He worked directly with the firm’s Global Board as leader of a multi-billion-dollar global technology and cyber program.
In addition to his CIO role, Larry drove significant revenue, delivering services to Deloitte global clients in the hospitality and technology sectors. He advised company boards and CEOs on a range of IT, cyber, and digital strategic priorities. Larry led the Deloitte CIO Academy, a leadership development program for client executives aspiring to the corporate CIO role.
Larry serves on the Boards of three Fortune 500 companies: ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), where he sits on the Audit Committee; Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), where he is a member of the Audit & Risk and the Nominating, Governance & Sustainability Committees; and Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), where he chairs the Board’s Cyber Subcommitee. Larry is also Board Director and sits on the Audit Committee of UBS Americas, where he chairs the Technology & Cyber Forum of the Board. He serves on private equity portfolio company boards and is a strategic PE advisor. Larry is active in non-profit governance; he chairs the NPower Emeritus Board and the Technology Committee of United Way of Miami. He is a past Board co-chair of the Global Leadership Forum and a former Board member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). Larry is NACD Directorship Certified.
Larry is passionate about giving back. He is a founding member of The TechPACT, a CIO organization committed to bridging the digital divide. He is also mentor for startups at The Venture Mentoring Team. Larry is an avid boater and scuba diver.
He holds an MBA from Baruch College, CUNY and a BSc (Hons) from the University of the West Indies. In 2018, he was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame and The University of the West Indies conferred an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree in recognition of his leadership in industry.
