From January 2004 through January 2005, and from January 2005 through March 2006, he served as both chairman and presiding director of the Clorox board, respectively. He also served as the vice chairman of the board of directors and as chief financial officer of The Seagram Company Limited, a global company with entertainment and beverage operations, from 1995 until 2000. Previously, he was head of worldwide investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, a securities and investment firm, from 1991 to 1995, and served on the board of directors of Morgan Stanley from 1992 to 1995. Mr. Matschullat is a member of the board of directors of The Clorox Company. Mr. Matschullat holds a B.A. in Sociology from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
