Cindy Ryan was named Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of The Cigna GroupSM in August 2021. As CHRO, Cindy is responsible for aligning the company’s talent strategy with the needs of the business to help The Cigna Group grow and employees thrive. In this role, Cindy leads the company’s HR Centers of Expertise, including compensation, benefits and well-being, talent acquisition, learning and leadership development, operations, and employee relations, in addition to leading the HR Business Partner (HRBP) teams globally. She is a member of the Enterprise Leadership Team of The Cigna Group.

Cindy began her career working as a human resources generalist for a health care delivery company, prior to joining the company as an associate in its HR Development Program.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University.
