Since joining Cigna in 1998, Triplett has held various leadership and management positions. Prior to his current role, he was President of Regional Segment, Payer Solutions and Government and Taft-Hartley. Before joining Cigna, he held numerous sales and leadership positions with IBM for 14 years.

Triplett received national recognition from Savoy Magazine as one of the Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America in 2014, 2018, and 2020. He also partners with small, minority- and women-owned local businesses to help them accelerate their growth. He is active on the National Corporate Council for the National Forum for Black Public Administrators.
