Everett Neville serves as executive vice president, strategy, corporate development and solutions, responsible for mapping Cigna Corporation’s long-term growth through his leadership of the company’s strategy, corporate and business development, Cigna Ventures and Cigna Solutions. He brings together enterprise strategy and solutions to accelerate cross-business value creation through Cigna and Evernorth.

Previously, Neville served as senior vice president, value creation, where he leveraged his more than 20 years of experience with Express Scripts to ensure the company – as well as our customers and clients – realize the benefits expected from the Cigna / Express Scripts® combination and from Evernorth SM, Cigna’s health services organization.

Prior to the combination, he was executive vice president, strategy, supply chain and specialty pharmacy, and chief value officer of Express Scripts. Under his dynamic leadership, Express Scripts brought to market industry-leading solutions and strategies that delivered value to Express Scripts clients, members and shareholders, and helped to shape the rapidly evolving specialty pharmacy landscape.

Neville joined Express Scripts in 1998. He has held diverse leadership roles in several key businesses within the company, including Medicaid and Medicare, clinical program management, account management, health plans, and pharma strategies and contracting. His pioneering approach to pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships and negotiation led to novel solutions that lower costs while improving pharmacy care. A pharmacist by training, he was previously a regional director at Diagnostic, and a staff pharmacist in the University of North Carolina hospital system.

Neville holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
